Danny Boldroff, a Local 80 Key Grip and also the owner of Ragtime Inc. and Global Backings, felt the need to improve controlling the spread and focusing of film and video LED lighting. Although others had made egg crates, he felt that most did not hold their shape very well which diminished their capacity to evenly control and focus the light. After many hours of research and development we feel that we have a superior product to control and focus light using a soft “travel friendly fabric.” Honeycrates ® unique shape and detailed construction hold their shape better with less sag. The unique “slip on” mounting system makes it easy to install in about ¼ of the time.
